Welcome to our “My Singing Monsters” breeding guide for the Grumpyre! The Grumpyre is a single-element Ethereal Monster with the Shadow element. It is a popular choice among players due to its excellent shard production, which is only surpassed by other Rare and Epic single-element Ethereals.
In this guide, we will walk you through everything you need to know about breeding and caring for the Grumpyre, including what combinations to use, what items and monsters increase its happiness and earnings, and where to find it in the game.
The Grumpyre is a unique monster in “My Singing Monsters,” known for its shifting eyes and mouth as it gurgles forth its song. Its appearance can be deceiving, as it may appear sad when it is actually happy or afraid when it is having a good time. This is fitting, as the Grumpyre embodies the essence of Shadow, which is always a bit obscured and can unnerve even the most intrepid of Monsters.
In terms of gameplay, the Grumpyre has a decent coin production on Cold Island and is comparable to the Deedge monster. While it can be helpful for beginners, it is recommended to eventually obtain Monsters with higher coin production.
